For more than a year our company has been a member of the European Language Industry Association (ELIA). Twice a year the association holds a conference called “Networking Days” in different countries. This year Lingvista participated in the conference, which took place in the sunny country of Malta from October 3rd to October 5th. As always, we were greeted with a cozy atmosphere, useful sessions, as well as interesting people, ideas, plans and perspectives.
This time we took an active role, presenting our company in the course of the “Bull’s Eye” session, unique for its benefit and energy. As a result, we received constructive feedback about the structure, content and execution of our presentation. Opinions were given by an expert commission of professionals in marketing and sales, as well as by the audience, who were representatives of the professional community. A video of the presentation and our conclusions will follow in the near future.
In all, the trip to the international industry conference was an excellent opportunity, not only to make useful contacts and talk with interesting people, but also to look at the performance of the company from another side, through the eyes of our partners and colleagues. This kind of experience allows us to analyze our current strengths and weaknesses, and make the necessary corrections in order to provide ourselves with the ability to develop in the future. Later Lingvista plans to actively develop working relationships with ELIA and other industry associations.
