Do you read business websites? Are you a radio listener? Then you’ve got all the chances to meet us in the media world :) After an article about Lingvista had been posted by a website dedicated to small and media enterprises, we were contacted by journalists from the “Echo of Moscow”, quite a remarkable radio station broadcasting in Russia, CIS countries, Chicago (USA) and via the Internet. We were interviewed for the program called “Potapenko Course”, and it turned out to be really exciting.
Last week, Lingvista’s co-owners Maria Solonina and Yulia Kostevich spent an hour on-air, talking to Dmitriy Potapenko, a prominent entrepreneur from Moscow, a creator and host of the program “Potapenko Course”.
What’s the current state of translation industry? How to stand out from the competition and find its own place within the business community? Why is China not our business goal No. 1, though it’s a common course for Russian companies today? How do we make it possible to work worldwide from the single office located in the Siberian city of Tomsk and keep in the high-end price range? These points were lively discussed in the interview, which is now available in Russian on the radio station’s website.
The broadcast brought us a surprising side effect: the audience included our potential partners, clients and translators, who took the chance and contacted us to discuss the ways of potential cooperation. We’re grateful to the “Echo of Moscow” for the opportunity to share our vision of the translation world.
Our colleagues within a single day offered us two demo records of the professional Turkish speakers. The final audio file was delivered exactly at the specified time. Lingvista also provided us translator’s assistance for video-editing process.
